Oast House

Designed by Greencube and built by Vu, this entrance brings together natural stone, weathering steel and planting to create a welcoming approach to the property.

Limestone pavers provide a textured surface, complemented by the warm tones of bespoke Corten steel planters. The combination introduces contemporary detailing that sits comfortably alongside the character of the Oast House.

The construction involved substantial metalwork and welding, with careful attention to the junctions between the paving and steel elements. These details give the entrance a crisp, cohesive finish.

Greencube’s planting softens the hard landscaping and brings seasonal interest to the approach. Photographed after several seasons of growth, the project shows how the planting and materials have settled together over time.
